Exposure and Response Prevention

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is a proven psychotherapeutic approach designed to address severe anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Developed to disrupt the cycle of obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors, ERP involves systematically exposing you to anxiety-inducing situations (exposures) while preventing the accompanying rituals or compulsions (response prevention).
